After announcing the first qualifier, it is now time to introduce you to the teams who are participating in the SEA League Warm-Up Tournament. We have no less than the Thai sensational team MiTH.Trust and Pinoy Champions Pacific.Emaxxx.

Both teams are very skilled and famous heavyweights within the global scene, where both have achieved enormous victories and upset the western world with talent, creativity and hard work.

MiTH.Trust will arrive to the tournament as one of the most notable teams in Dota2. The Thailand representative is ready to show the region and also the world that they are the ones who want to claim the title for themselves.

Pacific.Emaxx will be one to represent the Philippines and have high hopes and expectations from the community, as they were the latest winner of SMM, which is one of the biggest DotA Allstars offline competitions. Their transition into Dota2 will not be an easy one, but their champion mentality will always carry the team to higher levels.

The first Qualifier will start kicking off soon! 8 Teams will battle for the survival of the last two, as those will qualify for the tournament bracket which allows themselves to first-of-all measure themselves against Southeast Asia’s best Dota2 teams, but second-of-all have a shot in grabbing a piece of the prize money cake, which is set at a total of USD 1,500.

In the first Qualifier we will be having 8 teams to fight for their right to be called ‘pro’, and these teams are:

  • First Departure (Singapore)
  • Typhon (Malaysia)
  • NeoEs|G7 (Myanmar)
  • Neolution.Academy (Thailand)
  • Gangster (Philippines)
  • Ledion Dreamz (Philippines)
  • Mafia (Philippines)
  • Fulltilt (Philippines)

Superstars from Ledion.Dreamz have signed up for the challenge, as well as the Burmese underdog NeoES|G7, but every team will have a hard time qualifying as the bar of skill is set very high. The tournament is set to start on 26th January and the winners will be set in stone one day later.

SEA League Grand Opening

Today, SEA Leauge administration is proud to announce the kick-off of a new era in gaming. Southeast Asia’s new child is born and will be celebrating its first outing starting today!

To kick off our engagements we have been gathering all our partners together and created a Clash of Southeast Asia where 12 invited teams (plus 4 qualified teams) are fighting for a total of USD 1,500!

Over the next days the SEA League Administration will release the first names of teams being participating.
There wil be 2 qualifier tournaments with each 16 teams participating, where the two winners of each will join the 12 invitation teams.

SEA LEAGUE has been created to evolve the current infrastructure of gaming within the region, we as a team, would like to deliver fun and a professional platform by leaders of industry. Our focus is on streaming games at the hugest qualify level and to produce a great and entertaining show. Our partners have not only opened their pockets, but also will help to strategize and reach our goals.

To sneak preview a bit, we would like to share already with you that BeyondTheSummit, with Godz, LD and Winter will be bringing the tournament live to your screens.
